About the Author
About the Authors Kathy Ivens has been a computer consultant since 1984, and has authored and coauthored many books on computer subjects. She is a columnist for Windows NT Magazine, and has a syndicated column for home users in newspapers around the country. Before becoming an expert in computing, she spent many years as a television producer, where she had fun producing sports, and was mildly amused producing news and entertainment programs. Thomas E. Barich used to be an editor of computer books, but saw the light and joined the world of authors. He's having much more fun now that he doesn't have to deal with authors himself (except for his coauthor). Tom has been using computers and bookkeeping software for a long time. He's written a number of books on a variety of computer subjects. The tax tips for this book were provided by Stephen I. Bush, CPA, a senior partner at Bush, Levin, & Tecosky, with offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He's been practicing his profession for many years, and has a wide range of clients for whom he performs services that include tax matters, business planning, management consulting, and other important business ministrations.
