Elena de Roo is a poet and former research librarian. The Rain Train is her first picture book. She lives in New Zealand.
Brian Lovelock is a fine artist and geothermal scientist, in addition to being a childrens book illustrator. His other books include the award-winning Roadwork and Did My Mother Do That? He lives in New Zealand.
