About the Author
Leon Uris was acclaimed world wide as the author of such bestsellers as
Exodus, Trinity and
QBVII. The publication of
O'Hara's Choice celebrates the fiftieth year of his writing career. Uris used his own experiences in the Marine Corps as the basis for his first novel, Battle Cry, published in 1953. Fifty years later, Uris revisits the Marine Corps and it's history, with
O'Hara's Choice, his final novel, bringing him full circle. Mr. Uris died in June, 2003, three months before the publication of this book.
