Synopsis
Entfremdung erscheint im Gesamtwerk der DDR-Autorin Christa Wolf als ein wichtiges und st ndig wiederkehrendes Thema. Die Christa Wolf-Forschung hat jedoch die zentrale Bedeutung der Entfremdung f r Leben und Werk der Autorin bislang wenig beachtet. Diese Studie geht der Frage nach, wie sich die Autorin mit ihrer eigenen Entfremdungserfahrung auseinandergesetzt hat und ob in ihrer zweiten Mythos-Bearbeitung Medea. Stimmen, die nach der Wiedervereinigung publiziert wurde, Entfremdungserscheinungen festzustellen sind. Mit Hilfe der hier angewandten Entfremdungstheorie des amerikanischen Soziologen Melvin Seeman: powerlessness, meaninglessness, normlessness, isolation und self-estrangement, zeigt Yıldız Aydın, dass nicht nur Medea, sondern fast alle literarischen Figuren im Roman in unterschiedlicher Abstufung eine bestimmte Entfremdung erfahren, ber die sie zum Teil selbst reflektieren.
