This volume of primary source documents from John Calvin's church reveals what life was like during the Reformation in a city where ecclesiastical discipline affected many. The registers give historians and students of the Reformation information crucial to understanding this fascinating period in church history. Within the first twenty-four months of the Consistory's existence, some 850 people were called to appear.
