Synopsis
Polly Pepper was the queen of television's golden age. But these days her career is on life-support, until a role opens up in the blockbuster teen musical Detention Rules. Polly's arch-rival, Sedra Clark, gets the job, but on the first day of shooting, Sedra crashes through a suspiciously weakened stage... After Polly joins the cast, she learns that most people weren't sorry to see Sedra make an untimely exit. The list of suspects is longer than the wait to see a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon...and even more vicious. Now it's up to Polly, her son Tim, and their sassy maid Placentia to make sure that the killer soon stars in a real-life drama, tentatively titled Life Without Parole...
