Yvonne Navarro is a dark-fantasy author who lives in a western suburb of Chicago. Her first short story was published in The Horror Show in 1984, and since then her short fiction has appeared in more than forty anthologies and magazines. Her novels include Final Impact, Deadrush, and the novelizations of the Species motion pictures. She also has written a reference book called The First Name Reverse Dictionary for writers and parents-to-be. Three of her novels were nominated for the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Award.
