With The River Reader the Lyons Press inaugurates a new series of nature anthologies in partnership with The Nature Conservancy, dedicated to bringing readers of the finest nature writing from the past and present. Each book will be devoted to a single environmental subject and composed of both classic selections and contemporary writings.
