About the Author
Philip Croucher is an award-winning journalist who has been writing about sports in the Maritimes for over a decade. He was the sports editor of the Halifax Daily News and is currently the managing editor of the Metro Halifax newspaper. Croucher has covered sporting events throughout the Maritimes, including the National Hockey League world juniors, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and university hockey. His writing style and tremendous sports knowledge has made him one of the most respected industry writers in the Maritimes. He lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
