About the Author
Dr. Christopher Grey-Wilson is editor at the Alpine Garden society. Formerly a principal scientific officer at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and editor the The Kew Magazine, Dr. Grey-Wilson has published many books on rock garden plants, as well as Wild Flowers of Britain and Northwest Europe for DK. He has been involved in numerous botanical and plant-hunting expeditions around the world, and frequently lectures to botanical, photographic, and travel societies. Linden Hawthorne is a professional horticulturist, writer, and editor of a number of horticultural reference works, including The New RHS Dictionary of Gardening.
