Ray Banks has been a double-glazing salesman, a croupier, a dole monkey, and a disgruntled temp. The author of The Big Blind, Saturdays Child, Sucker Punch, and No More Heroes, he was born in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, and now lives in Edinburgh.
