On entering the high school or the private business school, students have little training and no experience in business. They know nothing of the ordinary procedure of business, its structure, its functions, or its language. The most commonplace business transactions appear to them to be unintelligible. Whatever preparation they get to equip them for entering the business world, which requires intelligent performance of tasks, must be acquired in the school.
