Synopses & Reviews
Seeking Jordan is a spiritual adventure story about Matthew McKay searching for and finding his murdered son. And, once in direct contact, getting knowledge he never thought possible to possess. Knowledge about death, the spirit world, life purpose, and the nature of the visible and invisible universe.
McKay is a psychologist, a believer in science, a psychotherapy researcher, and a skeptic. But he has been given knowledge beyond anything he hoped for or imagined. This is the story of how that came to be and what he discovered.
There are abundant stories of NDEs, of past life memories, of parents speaking through mediums to a lost child, and of travelers claiming to have journeyed past the curtain to witness our life between lives. They are part of a spiritual literature that feeds our hunger to know why we are here, and what will happen to us. This book is different. It isnt for believers. Its for people who do not believe, yet yearn to know. Its for people who never dreamed of speaking to the dead, or knowing what the dead know. But who, if shown the way, might make the journey.
The first four chapters of Seeking Jordan are about all the things McKay did to find him including Induced After Death Communication, past life and between life regressions (including ones the author facilitated for others using Michael Newtons hypnotic process), channeled writing, and much more. Finally, having discovered a way to truly and reliably connect one that he teaches in the book the story shifts to what McKay learned. The next nine chapters are mostly Jordans and examine:
what happens immediately after death
the process of reuniting, and what souls actually do in the afterlife
our individual vs. collective consciousness how they work together
why things happen
the lessons of uncertainty and loss
how spirits help us
how knowing the truth changes our lives
the cycle lessons learned and not learned (how Karma really works)
the juncture of science and spirituality
There has never been another book quite like this, written by a psychologist, author, and publisher who never intended to learn what he discovered, and never wanted to experience the death of his son. What he made of this journey will touch the hearts and souls of readers, and bring them closer to their own knowledge of and faith in the gifts the universe holds for us all.
Synopsis
If you have lost someone you deeply love, or have become strongly aware of your mortality, it s hard to avoid wondering about life after death, the existence of God, notions of heaven and hell, and why we are here in the first place. The murder of Matthew McKay s son, Jordan, sent him on a journey in search of ways to communicate with his son despite fears and uncertainty. Here he recounts his efforts including past-life and between-lives hypnotic regressions, a technique called induced after-death communication, channeled writing, and more.
McKay, a psychologist and researcher, ultimately learned how to reach his son. In this book he provides extraordinary revelations direct from Jordan about the soul s life after death, how karma works, why we incarnate, why there is so much pain in the world, the single force that connects us, and our future as souls. Unlike many books about after-death communication, near-death experiences, and past-life memories, this is a book for those who do not believe yet yearn to know what happens after death. In addition to being riveting reading, Seeking Jordan is a unique heart-, soul-, and mind-stirring reflection on the issues each of us will ultimately face.
