This was a wonderful book, I loved it! I can see, however, why some have had such strong negative reaction to it. I think it's just easier than to admit how uncomfortable they were reading it. It makes you look inside yourself and question your own moral code, shortcomings, and the skeletons in your own little closet. It also reminds us of our own cruelties and predjudices, and brings back memories that perhaps we would rather let lie and forget. This book was raw beyond belief, and I often found myself squirming while at the same time enthralled at the skill and insight of Wally Lamb. Fantastic!

I give Wally Lamb books as gifts because I love his stories. They can be sad at times, "She's Come Undone" is no exception. There were times I wanted to give up on Delores - "She" - but I am so glad I didn't. Finding out she did not give up on herself was rewarding and genuine in a way that makes Mr Lamb's books so satisfying to read.

What a waste of time reading this book. Completely loathsome characters, unbelievable situations, and too long by about a hundred pages. Could have used some major editing. It's beyond me why people think this is a great read.

I can't believe this book was written by a man--Lamb's portrayal of Dolores is so incredible and so believable, and his compassion for her as a character is amazing. This is an incredibly emotional and intense book.

This novel was awakening in every way. Self awarness, Humor, Hatred, Love and Pain all rolled into one great book. I laughed out loud, I cried real tears, and I felt for Dolores. And in the end, I was so exited that she was able to overcome such a difficult and bizzare life!

I loved this book from start to finish. The character Dolores Price is a master of self destruction. I cried at some point.
