About the Author
Clint Twist was educated at Cambridge University and worked as a journalist and museum consultant before becoming a full-time author. He has since written more than 90 titles for UK and US publishers in the fields of Science, Nature, and History, for readers of all ages. He has also contributed numerous articles to major reference works such as the Smithsonian-sponsored illustrated encyclopedia,
Earth (2003), and
Childrens Encarta (2005).
Nicki Palin studied Fine Art at Newcastle University, and was a runner up for the UKs prestigious Mother Goose Award for Geraldine McCaughreans St George and the Dragon, published by OUP. For Templar she has produced Blue Moon Mountain and Hidden Pictures, as well as contributing to Mythology. Nicki lives in Cambridgeshire with her eleven huskies.
