Synopsis
Excerpt from Statutes and Constitutional Provisions of the States and Territories of the United States and the Statutes of England, on Libel and Slander: With Suggestions of Amendments
This book has been prepared for the purpose of showing the chaotic condition of the statutes on libel and slander in the United States. It is intended also to show how meager are the statutes of many of the states on this subject and how slightly they modify the common law of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
