Synopsis
This book is intended to provide a one-semester junior-senior level course in modern structural geology and to present balanced coverage of the entire subject. Each chapter is designed to contain more material than can be covered during the allotted class time and may thus serve partly as a resource for material presented from a different point of view than the instructor's. A goal of this book is to bridge the gap between older, less quantitative, texts and newer, but more advanced, mathematical structural geology books.
