Synopsis
Here is a presentation of two of the best-loved adventures of the most famous detective in the mystery tradition. Both of them are presented in their entirety. The adventures retold here are A Study In Scarlet in which the good Doctor Watson is first introduced to our hero by young Dr. Stamford; and The Sign Of Four, a wild and fast-paced tale of lost treasure and four unlikely men who have signed a pact.
The stories begin at 221B Baker Street. There is always the serious and loyal teller of the tale, Dr. John H. Watson, late of Her Majesty's service in Afghanistan; and the often suspected and alluded to, Professor Moriarty, the famous scientific criminal; and, of course, the hero of these tales, the moody and enigmatic genius of Baker Street, Sherlock Holmes.
