Synopsis
DESCRIPTIONThere is a battle in the heavenlies. Most say it's over the souls of men. More specifically, I believe it is over the faith of men. Jesus declares in Luke 18:6-8 when the Son of Man comes will He find faith on the earth? Isaiah cries out, "Whose report will you believe (Isaiah 53:1)?" Will you believe the report of the Lord or the report of the world? Elijah asked the children of Israel on the Mount of Carmel, "How long will you halt between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow Him, but if Baal, then follow him (1 Kings 18:21)." We need to make up our minds who we will believe. I believe that this is the crux of the cosmic battle that is going on, the battle for the faith of the hearts of men, women, boys, and girls. Whose report will you believe? God's report or Satan's report? God's report or the world's report? How long will you straddle the fence between two opinions? MAKE UP YOUR MINDS If God be God, believe and follow Him. If Baal or any one of Satan's representatives be God, then follow them. In the book, The Battle For Our Faith: Principles of Faith to Overcome and Always Win, you will learn principles that will teach you how to stop being defeated and just surviving in life, to overcoming and winning in life.
Synopsis
For ten years, my family has been going through an exceedingly difficult trial. I don't know what's been more difficult: the angry sometimes violent outbursts; the disorganized speech or behavior; the many calls of concern from others that something else has gone wrong; the desperate calls to 911; the denial that there is even a problem; being blamed by others, church members and even the psychiatric community that the behavior displayed is our fault; not knowing what else to do; or the sheer length of the trial. I thought that I had faith. I thought that I truly believed that things were better and that our situation was turning around. Then there was the setback: the set of circumstances that made us look like a fool, that made us feel like our prayers hadn't worked, that nothing had changed, that maybe what we had believed or what we thought we heard from God was incorrect. When you asked me about my situation, I would say "It's okay." I thought that I was this great prayer warrior and that I truly had faith to believe that my situation was turning around. However, there was still so much fear and doubt in my heart. All I could see was what we were going through and nothing else. I was "a hoping and a praying" as they say. And when you are "a hoping and a praying" you don't really have confidence that what you are believing for will come to pass.
If you can relate to our testimony, if you have struggled to believe God to move in your life, then The Battle For Our Faith: Principles of Faith to Overcome and Always Win is for you. In this book, you will learn principles of faith that will teach you how to stop being defeated and just surviving in life, to overcoming and winning in life.
