Synopses & Reviews
Thanks to the help of Misto the ghost cat, Lee Fontana has beaten the Devil, who tormented his family for generations—or, so he thinks. But fairness means nothing to Satan.
When Lee is released from a Washington State prison, Misto watches for the return of Lee's dark adversary; but the tomcat is also close to nine-year-old Sammie Blake, three thousand miles away. And Sammie is of interest to Satan, too: a child blessed with a gift the Devil covets.
Yet Misto senses a connection between Sammie and Lee that is deeper than just the Devil's attention. And soon Sammie, too, suffers from Satan's attacks when one of the Devil's longtime puppets, ex-con Brad Falon, sets up a deadly robbery and frames her daddy, Morgan Blake, to take the fall.
Morgan is convicted and behind bars when he meets a new friend, Lee Fontana. Together, they plan a reckless escape to bring the real killer to justice and to clear Morgan's name. All they need do is outsmart the Devil, one last time.
