About the Author
Deborah Wood (Beaverton, OR) is a writer and dog trainer. She is the pet columnist for the Oregonian and appears regularly as the pet expert on NPR's Satellite Sisters. Wood was named Newspaper Person of the Year in 2001 by the Dog Writers Association of America. Her other books include Help for Your Shy Dog and Top Dogs: Making it to Westminster.
