About the Author
Jerome K. Jerome (18591927) worked on the railway and as an actor, a journalist, a teacher, a packer, and a solicitors clerk before finding success as a writer. He is best known for Three Men in a Boat (1889), which enjoys enduring popularity to this day. Martin Green cofounded Martin, Brian & OKeeffe, which published Flann OBrien, Hugh MacDiarmid, and Robert Graves. He is the author of eight books and four plays.
