About the Author
Frederick I. Ordway III worked with Wernher von Braun at the former Army Ballistic Missile Agency andand#160;later at the NASA-Marshall Space Flight Center. He is the author of more than 30 books, including Space Travel: A History: An Update of History of Rocketry and Space Travel and Visions of Spaceflight: Images from the Ordway Collection. He lives in Arlington, Virginia. Mitchell Sharpe was closely identified with the national space program for more thanand#160;20 years and is the author ofand#160;several books on space flight.
