JILL PATON WALSH is a Man Booker Prize-nominated and Whitbread Prize-winning novelist for adults and children. She lives in Cambridge, England. DOROTHY L. SAYERS, the author of fourteen Lord Peter Wimsey novels and story collections as well as a Dante scholar, died in 1957.
