Synopses & Reviews
Tiger Woods accomplished what many golf fans thought was nearly impossible by winning four major titles in a row. That extraordinary feat dubbed a "Tiger Slam" was even more amazing considering that Tiger was just 25 years old at the time.
But then, almost everything Tiger does is amazing. A golf prodigy, he dazzled older golfers as a 4-year-old. He won the U.S. Junior Amateur title as a 14-year-old and the U.S. Amateur Championship at 18. He won his first Masters title when he was 21. He won 24 golf tournaments in his first six years on the Professional Golfers' Association Tour.
Still, Tiger's youthful prowess isn't all that makes him stand out. In the nearly all-white world of men's professional golf, Tiger has reached a level of success rarely seen let alone seen by a man whose heritage includes African American, Native American, and Asian roots.
