Synopsis
In den Alpen befinden sich rund 22.000 Berg- und Schutzh tten, bei deren Nutzung Abw sser und Abf lle anfallen. Um die Umwelt und wertvolle Trinkwasserressourcen zu sch tzen, m ssen die Abw sser bestm glich entsorgt werden. Trocken- oder Komposttoiletten sind dabei eine m gliche Systemkomponente f r angepasste L sungen, speziell bei Wasserknappheit. Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit werden vier baulich teils unterschiedliche Trockentoiletten untersucht und bewertet. Zu diesem Zweck wurde die Au en-, Innenraum- und Komposttemperatur berwacht und ausgewertet. Weiters wurde im Abstand von zwei bis drei Monaten Kompostproben gezogen und auf ihre kompostrelevanten chemischen und physikalischen Parameter analysiert. Anhand der daraus gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden Vorschl ge zur Optimierung der untersuchten Toiletten vorgebracht.
