Jennifer Richard Jacobson's favorite camp memory is of canoeing to a river island, where she and her paddling friends built a campfire and slept out under the stars until dawn. Jennifer lives with her husband and two children in Cumberland, Maine, where they like to sing silly camp songs.Alissa Geis's favorite camp memory is the magic of building a good campfire: "If the smoke was blowing in your face, you just had to say 'white rabbits'and it would shift directions. It was one of those funny camp things, like ghost stories and midnight walks to latrines, but last summer when my husband and I were camping, I found myself saying it without thinking when the smoke got in my eyes."A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, Alissa lives with her husband in Los Angeles, California.
