Review
"Hats off to Joe Nowinski! The overall approach . . . is consistent with Hazelden's treatment philosophy. Specifically, the reliance on the Big Book and other AA literature, the emphasis on involvement in the fellowship of AA, and the therapist's role in constructively confronting and working collaboratively with the client are all consistent with Hazelden's approach. Overall, the methods used are ones that we are comfortable with, and use as well." —Patricia Owen, Daniel Anderson, and Fred Holmquist, Hazelden Foundation
