Vireyas, tropical and subtropical rhododendrons, are the least known of the genus, although they are increasing in popularity. They can be grown outdoors in warm areas with mild winters or overwintered indoors in pots in colder climates. They offer a striking range of flower colors and intriguingly unpredictable blooming times
