About the Author
James B. (Burt) Rishel has been in the pumping industry for over fifty years and has been involved in the design and operation of pumping systems since 1960. He provided invaluable design assistance for the water systems at the Denver International Airport, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the National Institutes of Health. Mr. Rishel has written numerous technical articles, is on the Review Board of the ASHRAE Journal, and is the author of McGraw-Hill's HVAC Pump Handbook.
