About the Author
Ken Whiting is one of the most recognized and respected whitewater ahtletes in the world and was recognized so by Paddler magazine in 2000 as one of their "Paddlers of the Century." Ken is one of the most active whitewater professionals inthe world. He has prduced numerouse best-selling and award-winning instructional kayaking books and videos and he regularly appears on the covers and writes articles for virtually every paddling magazine in the world. He co-founded the Liquid Skills Kayaking School in Canada, and Kayak Fataleufu, and adventure kayaking travel company with a base camp in Chile's Patagonia region.
