Review
"Here is a unique idea to use in substitution for booktalks…the idea here is unique enough that it would likely pique the interest of listeners who might select the person who is being discovered. Such an activity would also be good to encourage reading about women of a certain era being studied. Bottom line: Interesting." - Teacher Librarian
Review
"Polette, author of many books on using literature to teach critical thinking, introduces a novel way to bring history alive. . . . This resource is most suitable for younger students. The format is fun, and they will enjoy the game-show aspect. Teachers can easily adapt and enlarge the idea for student projects and classroom use. With supplemental information and reference sources close by, students will sharpen listening and reasoning skills and have a good time in the process." - VOYA
Review
"Polette adds another valuable resource to her collection of educational books. It works both as an anthology of readers theater plays as well as a resource for historical information. . . . This is an excellent purchase for any school or public library for both historical data as well as a resource for reader's theater plays. Enjoy!" - Catholic Library World
