About the Author
TIM JONES mentions writing as just one of his many professions. He has been a commercial fisherman, a boat captain, and an oil-spill response coordinator. Currently, he is a copy editor at the Anchorage Daily News. Jones has written several books including the bestselling Iditarod book, "Race Across Alaska." He lives in Palmer, Alaska. TOM WALKER, one of Alaska’s best-known nature photographers, has more than a dozen books to his credit, including the Epicenter Press bestseller, "Building the Alaska Log Home." He lives at Denali Park on a cabin home he built with his own hands.
