Winter is the final book of the Lunar Chronicles, incorporating the Snow White story into the wrap up of the series' battle over the universe (or at least the Earth & the Moon). Winter is just as action packed and intense as the other 3 books of the series and, as in the others, lots goes wrong that Cinder, Scarlett, Cress, Thorne, Iko, Wolf, and now Winter have to figure out. Unlike the other 3 books, Winter takes place almost entirely on Luna - Queen Levana's domain. The final book gets to explore the politics and inner workings of Luna a lot more, which the other 3 books only elude to. Winter is the step-daughter of Queen Levana, adored by the people for her kindness and beauty, hated by her step-mother and some of the court. Winter is considered off and weak by Queen Levana but Winter isn't so simple to figure out. Cinder must figure out how to save Scarlet, Prince Kai, and all of earth from Queen Levana, all while continuing to uncover secrets from the past and struggling to control her own future.
If, like me, you find yourself wanting more after the finale try out Fairest - it is Marissa Meyer's prequel and tells the story of Queen Levana prior to the Lunar Chronicles.
