Donald Blumberg: Words and Images from the American Media gathers over 100 of Blumbergandrsquo;s pictures of newspapers and televisions, many published here for the first time. Photographing the television screen directly, the artist replicates images that are themselves a distorted representation of reality, offering a unique look at one of the most important inventions of the 20th century and how it, and the content it broadcasts, has evolved throughout the years. One of the most creative and perceptive conceptual photographers, Blumberg invests these images with a view of the American media that is at turns humorous, at others poignant.and#160;
