About the Author
The World of Professional Golf annual series was cited among Mark H. McCormack's chief accomplishments when Mr.McCormack was inducted posthumously in 2006 into the World Golf Hall of Fame. Mr. McCormack was the founder of the sports marketing industry with his company, IMG, and had Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Jack Nicklaus as his first clients in the early 1960s. IMG has always represented the world's top golfers with a client list that now includes Tiger Woods and Annika Sorenstam. Mr. McCormack passed away in 2003 at the age of 72-this publication has been continued in his memory.
