What We're Reading

Maybe it is the voyeur in me, but I fell in love with Michelle Orange's Sicily Papers. Orange's charming little book looks exactly like a mini passport which, in a sense, it is, because her diary-style writing allows you to travel to Italy via her words and reflections. She writes not about tourist attractions or which restaurants she ate at, but rather about the people she fell in love with each day and the quirky situations she experienced throughout her trip. Read Sicily Papers if you are travelling to Italy (or would like to); it will give you a new perspective on what makes the Italian culture so lovely and a vacation truly unique.
