This is the second book in the series, third if you count the prequel, but it can be read as a standalone. The main character in this book is Kekoa, the computer guru for the Snap Agency. Kekoa’s backstory is a focus in this book and it was delightful to find out more about this mysterious computer guru. In this book, Kekoa finds himself attracted to his neighbor Elinor only to discover that she is the subject of an investigation of his agency since she is suspected of selling secrets to Russia. Kekoa wants to discover the truth in spite of his friendship with Elinor and devotes himself to tracking down what is happening at her company. The action is intensely intriguing and fast-paced, with non-stop introduction of new elements for Kekoa to investigate. The characters are realistic and likable, especially Kekoa who shows his vulnerability in this book. I enjoyed the entire book and look forward to the next one in the series.
