Shadows at Dusk by Elizabeth Goddard brings readers a gripping tale of heart-pounding adventure, intrigue, and complex and mysterious plotlines. I thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Goddard's second book in her Missing in Alaska series. From the first page I was hooked and barely put Shadows at Dusk down. I loved the stubborn, no-quit attitude each character displayed. I always enjoy Ms. Goddard's writings especially the strong characters, deep and intricate plots, and rich context. Shadows at Dusk brings you a gripping tale that you won't want to miss out on! Trevor West is a detective from Montana who is desperate to find his sister Jennifer, missing in Alaska for over a year. Trevor learns some clues about his sister, rushes to Alaska, and hires Carrie James, an experienced bush pilot, to assist him in his search. Carrie suddenly experiences the devastating loss of her closest friend. As Trevor pushes to find the truth about his sister Carrie is fiercely determined to track down her friend's killer. The truth is shrouded in mystery with deep and confusing webs that bring Carrie and Trevor into serious danger. As Carrie and Trevor follow the cryptic clues left behind by Jennifer, they are bombarded with obstacles. Can they discover the evil behind the scenes of each of their heartbreaks? Can they find Jennifer? Disclaimer: Revell graciously provided me with a copy of this book. All opinions are my own and part of an unbiased review.
